militaryIt is military day here on Roto-Rx.  Dr. Roto salutes ALL those in the military that put their lives at risk for us. THANK YOU for ALL YOU DO!!

If your question was not answered this time, you can go directly to the source @ https://www.roto-rx.com/ where Dr. Roto will answer all your Fantasy Baseball and Football questions.

The Doctor is in...

Question #1: Who do you view as a more valuable fantasy 3B, David Wright or Ryan Zimmerman? - Paul, Campbell Barracks, Heidelberg, Germany

Paul: Dr. Roto has not lost faith in David Wright. His numbers were way off their norm last year, but Dr. Roto is expecting a comeback from Wright next year. Plus, you might actually get him a bit undervalued!

Question #2: Do you think Chris Young will open the season in the Padres rotation?  If so, is he a viable 4th or 5th starter for my fantasy roster? - David, Dover Air Force Base, DE

David: My sources say that Chris Young should be back healthy in time for 2010. If so, then he certainly is a viable starter for your fantasy roster. But, don't go crazy as he plays for a bad team which is only going to get worse once they trade their best hitter and closer this off-season (Adrian Gonzalez and Heath Bell).

Question #3: What is your outlook for Tim Hudson a full year and a half removed from surgery? - Danny, Fort Knox, KY

Danny: Tim Hudson is nothing more than an above average NL starter on a good team. The problem is that he doesn't strike guys out. Without that out pitch, he gets hit a bit too often. That can hurt his ERA and WHIP.  He is nothing more than a 3rd or 4th starter on a fantasy team.

Question #4: Which second level SS do you like more, Alexi Ramirez or Yunel Escobar? - Sandy, MCAGCC 29 Palms, CA

Sandy: Dr. Roto is going to go with Alexi Ramirez because of his power/speed combo. Escobar's HR output last year FAR exceeded his previous norms. I would be surprised to see him duplicate those numbers again. Whereas, Ramirez couldn't have been worse for most of the year, yet still finished with 15/15 type numbers.

Question #5: If I can't get Rivera or Papelbon, what AL closer is best for me to target in next year's draft? - Rocco, Fort Leonard Wood, MO

Rocco: Certainly Joe Nathan should be on your radar screen . Some other names include: Joakim Soria, David Aardsma, and Brian Fuentes.
