What is with these guys? Spring training has already started, Johnny Damon has no team and yet he's still trying to game the system.
White Sox GM Kenny Williams has confirmed that he has now pulled the offer they had outstanding to Damon saying,
"It became clear to us in our recent negotiations that the money that we were offering was not going to be good enough for Johnny at this time."
At the same time Tigers GM Dave Dombrowski went public confirming that he made Johnny Damon a $7million one year offer (with some deferred money) and Scott Boras is insisting that they remove all the deferred money and that they also add a second year!
Raise your hand if you want to see the greedy bastards end up with no team at all or a $1 million contract with the Padres or Royals....... - Peter Costa
